Content Review
Our content review is built around a High Yield MCAT Science Book covering 40+ frequently tested topics, complemented by video lectures from John and Maggie that focus on high-yield concepts, most mid-yield sciences, and select low-yield topics when relevant. This integrated approach teaches sciences in context—like covering protein structures alongside hydrogen bonding (mid-yield) and disulfide bonds (low-yield)—to make learning more intuitive and reflective of how the AAMC tests concepts. Additionally, our partnership with UWorld allows us to curate 3,000+ questions, assigning them as modules aligned with each book chapter for immediate practice and feedback. Alongside Anki and other study techniques, this ensures students grasp essential sciences efficiently and start applying their knowledge right away.
A strong MCAT study program is built on four key pillars, and our approach integrates these elements simultaneously to simulate real test conditions and optimize your prep.
Strategies
Our strategy training is one of our biggest strengths. Maggie and John created written guides and video lectures detailing the test-taking strategies they taught while working with major national companies, which you can reference as often as needed. Since mastering a strategy often requires seeing it applied in different ways, they also recorded detailed breakdowns of every AAMC full-length exam question—covering around 1,000 questions—to show these strategies in action. By fully committing to this approach, you'll not only develop techniques to excel on the MCAT but also gain valuable skills that helped them succeed in medical school.
CARS
CARS is a challenging section for most pre-meds, and for a long time, we held off on offering a program because we couldn’t consistently replicate score increases without private tutoring—which was both time-intensive and costly. Instead, John and Maggie spent two years designing an AI-powered CARS tutor that simulates AAMC-style passages and questions while guiding students through the same four drills they used in private tutoring. These drills focus on reading comprehension, identifying the core four competencies (tone, arguments, author’s intention, main idea), simplifying questions, and unlimited practice passages to build confidence and eliminate test-day anxiety. It’s designed to perfectly mimic AAMC passages and replicate their CARS tutoring approach, and John considers it his proudest professional achievement.
Passage Practice
The final pillar is practice passages, because all the content and strategies mean nothing without extensive practice and review. We equip students with a UWorld subscription for top-tier practice questions, unlimited CARS practice through our AI-powered tutor, and access to detailed breakdowns of all AAMC full-length exams with John and Maggie. In total, you'll work through around 5,000 questions, ensuring you're not just answering but actively reviewing and refining your approach. By test day, you'll be so well-prepared that no amount of anxiety will stand between you and your goal of becoming a doctor.
